2019 Trip to Seoul

In may 2019, I went to Seoul for the first time, for a 2 weeks trip. To be fair, I only visited a tiny tiny part of Seoul, mainly Gangnam. I was shocked to see how large the city is, with so many different districts, it feels like you need a whole life to become familiar with every part of it.

The weather in may is delightful, I was a bit scared to go there in winter given the low temperatures and the Siberian wind.

Gangnam is a high-end, modern and sleek place. You can feel the dynamism among people.

I visited a traditional area with old-style temples and shrines.

I visited a vibrant and bustling area with a lot of young people and outdoor shows. But I forgot the name of that place. It has a lot of restaurants, and some KTV.

I attended a Starcraft II league competition day as a spectator. I saw real pro-gamer players, one infamous caster and some spectators coming from about all around the globe.

I would love to live there a few months a year. Besides, I want to go back to Seoul to discover new districts and walk there like a normal bystander, to try to experience what it feels like to be a Seoulite.
